Some lessons contain the option to 'download' one or more images. Clicking on the 'Download' button does not save the file to your device automatically. Instead it opens the image in a new browser tab.
To save this image as a file on your computer you need to save it. There are a different ways to do this depending on the device you are using.
Laptop or desktop users
The fastest way to save the image, is using the keyboard.
- If you are using a PC with Windows - hold down the 'Ctrl' key and press the 's' key
- If you are using a Mac - hold down the Command key and press the 's' key
You will be promted to save the image to a location of your choice.
You can also use one of the following methods:
I am using a computer with a mouse that has right and left buttons:
Point to the image and click the right mouse button, you will see a menu of options. Select 'Save Image As'. You will then be able to choose a location to save your image
I am using a Mac with a mouse but it doesn't have a right and left button:
Point to the image and hold down the Control button on your kepboard, now click down on the mouse, you will see a menu of options. Select 'Save Image As'. You will then be able to choose a location to save your image.
I am using a laptop with a trackpad:
Point to the image and click the right button on trackpad, you will see a menu of options. Select 'Save Image As'. You will then be able to choose a location to save your image. On a Macbook you can also tap on the trackpad with 2 fingers to achieve the same result.
Smartphone or tablet users
I am using an iPhone or iPad:
Press and hold your finger down on the image. When the share sheet pops up, just tap the 'Save Image' button to send the photo to your Camera Roll.
I am using an Android phone:
Press and hold your finger down on the image. Choose the 'Download Image' option. The download image status will appear at the bottom on your screen with a link to open the image. Tap this to open the image.
