In order for the mic to work correctly in an interactive class, you need to have allowed permissions when entering the Interactive Classroom for the first time as shown in the video below.

Assuming that you have taken these steps, here are some possible reasons why your mic may not work:
- It could be that another application or browser window is already connected with the mic - try to close all other programs and browser tabs
- If you are using a headset, it could be that when your headset was connected to the computer, the device was detected as a headphone, but not headphones with mic - try to unplug the headset and plug back in, if prompted select 'headphones with mic' or 'headset with mic'
- Some headsets have a physical button to mute the mic - if using a headset, check if there is a mic mute button on the headset and click it to unmute the mic
- If none of these options work, try to unplug the headset and use the computer's built in mic
